Asad is a passionate advocate for talent development with over 20 years of experience in managing educational institutes, universities and business schools. Holding a PhD in Applied Linguistics with a focus on language teaching and education, he has dedicated his career to enhancing learning experiences globally.
He furthered his expertise in Human Resources Management at the University of Toronto and is an active member of the Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario. His work spans Canada, Switzerland, Austria, France, the UAE and Iran, where he has designed and led innovative educational programmes.
Beyond academia, Asad has contributed to the ideation and development of startups in Canada and the Middle East, blending education with entrepreneurship to create impactful solutions.

Dr. Reza Moridi is a scientist, educator and public-policy leader who served Ontario as Minister of Research, Innovation and Science and as Minister of Training, Colleges and Universities, following his election as MPP for Richmond Hill.
Across his public and academic career, he has championed education, scientific research, innovation, entrepreneurship and access to post-secondary learning. He holds Physics degrees from the University of Tehran and Brunel University London, including a PhD, and is a Fellow of the UK’s Institute of Physics and Institution of Engineering and Technology.
He continues to contribute to Canada’s education, research and innovation communities and to advocate for opportunity for the next generation.
Dr. Iman Sheydaei is a sociolinguist and lecturer in the Department of English at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. His research examines how language agency and ethnic identity shape one another, with particular attention to Americans of Southwest Asian and North African (SWANA) descent.
Amir holds a PhD in Strategic Management from the University of Tehran and brings over ten years of professional experience across corporate management, banking and investment.
Based in Spain, he works as a wealth manager supporting family offices and advising on personal and corporate wealth management.
He holds specialised CFI credentials in Financial Modelling, FinTech, Commercial Banking and Financial Planning.
Dr. Mohammad Sharifi-Tehrani is an Assistant Professor in the School of Business at Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation in Malaysia. His research spans qualitative and quantitative methods, emotion, governmentality and social entrepreneurship in tourism.
He serves as Regional Editor for West Asia and sits on the editorial board of the International Journal of Tourism Research. His work has appeared in leading tourism and business journals, including Annals of Tourism Research, Journal of Travel Research, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Sustainable Tourism and International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management.
Dr. Ali Alaghbandrad earned his PhD in Building Engineering from Concordia University in Montréal in 2021. His research has been published in academic journals and presented at international conferences.
He has held the Project Management Professional (PMP) credential since 2019 and has worked in web and software development since 2021. His experience also includes several years of tutoring university and high-school students in Canada.
Amir Ali Bozorgnia is a PhD student in Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Waterloo’s Multi-Scale Additive Manufacturing Lab. His current work develops real-time, sensor-based monitoring for Directed Energy Deposition, applying machine learning and signal processing to detect defects and enable closed-loop control in metal additive manufacturing.
His master’s research at Ontario Tech University focused on recycled polymers and carbon-negative composites for 3D printing, producing peer-reviewed work on circular-economy feedstocks. Alongside his research, he has three years of Teaching Assistant experience across three universities and twelve undergraduate engineering courses, including tutorials, laboratory instruction, assessment design and student mentoring.
